Welcome to Chrysalis Day Nursery

A very warm welcome to our website.

We know it can be daunting to choose a nursery for your child & understand the anxiety this decision can bring as you can be leaving your child in someone else's care for the first time. Many of the pages here are written with this in mind & aim to provide you with information that will help you to make that decision.

The site will also give you a view into the daily life at the Nursery, the care, happiness and dedication our staff bring to their roles in your child's daily play, learning and development.

For those parents who already have children at our Nursery, these pages will also help to inform you on current and future activities.

World Book Day

World Book Day will shortly be upon us where we will be holding our special ‘Read-athon’.

If possible we would like everyone to come to nursery dressed as a character from a book. If your child would like to bring in one of their favourite books please make sure your child’s name is written inside.

The date for your diary is Thursday 1st March...... so get your thinking caps on!

Dear Parents

After a visit from OFSTED on Monday 8th August, we are pleased to inform you that Chrysalis Day Nursery has been declared an “Outstanding Day Nursery” in all areas.

Please read the report, it is in the private "Parents Page" (you can navigate there using the menu on the right hand side of the screen). if anyone would like a hard copy, please do not hesitate to ask in the office.

Having read the report we would welcome your comments, but meanwhile, I am sure that you would like to join Mike and I in thanking all the staff for their unerring support, hard work and dedication to the nursery.

We are planning various celebrations for both the staff and children in the near future.
