This group is for toddlers aged one to two years.
The emphasis in this area is fun, play and stimulation. Access to a wide variety of activities should promote the development of many skills appropriate to each individual child.
Staff work in partnership with parents towards fulfilling the needs of the children.
Throughout the nursery the staff base the experiences that they provide on the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) This document is a principled approach that sets the standards for Learning, Development and Care for children from birth to five.
The EYFS is based around four themes:
